The Art of Elegance: The Success Story of Art Lewin

Art Lewin has become a defining name in the world of bespoke tailoring, celebrated for delivering refined, enduring style to some of the most influential individuals across industries. As the founder and CEO of Art Lewin Bespoke, he has established himself as one of California’s most respected custom clothiers, serving high-profile clients for more than thirty years.

His story begins in Chile, where he was raised with modest means but big aspirations. From an early age, he was captivated by the sophistication of tailored suits, luxury living, and the symbols of success he aspired to achieve. That early fascination evolved into a clear vision when he moved to the United States in 1977. Determined to build something of his own, Lewin invested years of hard work and persistence before opening his first showroom in Woodland Hills in 1989.

Over time, his brand grew into a globally recognized name in custom clothing. Art Lewin Bespoke now provides meticulously crafted suits, shirts, and formalwear, each designed with precision and a deep understanding of individual style. His dedication to craftsmanship, combined with a highly personalized client experience, has resulted in an impressive client loyalty rate, reinforcing his position among the most successful bespoke clothiers in the United States.

Lewin’s work has attracted an elite clientele, including well-known figures such as the late Hugh Hefner, Gene Simmons, Jon Voight, Rober Wagner, Eric Roberts, Bill Maher, Sylvester & Frank Stallone, Ryan Seacrest, Joe Mantegna, Elliot Gould, Ernie Hudson, Sofia Milos, Oscar De La Hoya, Lou Ferrigno, William Shatner, and many others. In addition to his tailoring career, he has shared his entrepreneurial insights through books such as Tailor Made Success for Entrepreneurs and The Hustle Code. Art is also a real estate investor and founder of TravelWerx and HealthyChoiceLabs, both e-commerce companies. Art has also donated over a million dollars to the Salvation Army and various other local charities.

At the core of Lewin’s success is a strong set of principles. He emphasizes honesty, consistency, and a genuine commitment to his craft. Guided by the belief in following through on promises and maintaining transparency, he has built not just a business but also a trusted brand. For Lewin, tailoring goes beyond clothing—it is about confidence, identity, and helping clients present the best version of themselves to the world.

Personally, Art and his wife Jamie reside in Los Angeles and Indian Wells. They are avid world travelers and enjoy working out. Art is obsessed with daily learning and reading. Art is the father of 3: Alexis, Amanda, and Christian Lewin.
